When we set out to create a logo for our clinic, we wanted an authentic medical symbol to represent our organization.
After a few months of research, it came down to the Asclepius symbol on a red shield with our name above the shield. Asclepius is the god of medicine and healing in ancient Greek Religion.
It represents the healing aspect of the medical arts. The rod of Asclepius, a snake-entwined staff, remains a symbol of medicine today, although sometimes the Caduceus, or staff with two snakes, is mistakenly used instead.
Red is symbolic of vitality and health, the shield has traditionally been used as a symbol of protection as well as organization and our name on the banner ties our reputation in the community as a lasting health care provider.
We are all very proud of our clinic and our logo stands apart from the many meaningless shapes and icons seen everywhere.
